Initial meeting to discuss suitability of the qualification prior to enrolment. Although there are no formal entry requirements to the programme, the candidate should be literate and numerate and in a position to reflect on their practice and gather work-based evidence within a first line management role.

How is my course assessed?
The course is delivered at the workplace by a qualified assessor. The assessor will visit the staff regularly to set work and help the candidate to complete the units needed for the award. Times for the visits will be arranged to suit the staff and assessor. The staff member proves they have achieved the award by gathering evidence and completing underpinning knowledge questions and tests.
This course can start anytime during the year at a time to suit yourself and your employer.
