CWA+ Free courses for 18 & 19 year olds

Part of the government’s response to help 18 and 19 year olds during the current difficult employment market.

CWA is able to offer some additional fully-funded one year courses (listed below) starting in September 2020 to 18 and 19 year olds leaving school or college in summer 2020.

These are selected level 2 and 3 qualifications in a range of subjects and is on offer only for the 2020-21 academic year.

Why come back to college for an extra year?

  • It’s free! - additional education after the age of 19 or level 3 (A-level equivalent) is normally paid for by the student
  • Add new skills – if you want the opportunity to study something additional to the subjects you’ve already achieved, this is your chance!
  • Best use of your time – if your first choice of job or apprenticeship just isn’t available at the moment because of the effect Covid-19 has had on the economy, using your time to gain additional qualifications will only strengthen your CV and also not leave gaps in your education/employment history.
