    COURSE INFORMATION

    When is my first day / induction?

    Your first day and induction session is on Thursday 8th September at 11am, finishing at 4pm. On arrival, please report to room U119, which is upstairs in the university centre. This is the only day which you are in during your induction week - teaching will start the following week.

    What about the rest of my timetable?

    You'll be at the university centre two days a week throughout the first year - Monday (8.45am - 4pm) and Thursday (8.45am - 5pm).

    How do I complete my enrolment for the course?

    We should have sent you an email with full details on how to access the student portal and complete your enrolment. If you're unsure, please give our enrolment team a call on 01553 815800.

    We'd love for you to come into the university centre and collect your ID card and lanyard as well as completing your enrolment paperwork on Wednesday 24th August. This will help avoid any disruption in September and allow you to focus on your welcome week and getting to know your classmates. We know that this is short notice, so please don't worry if you can't attend - you'll be able to get your ID card and lanyard then. Click the button below to book your slot!

    When is my first day / induction?

    Your welcome and induction session will start on Wednesday 7th September from 1pm - 6pm.  On arrival, pease report to room U014 in the University Centre (ground floor, down through the corridor in front of you and 2nd to last room on your left).  This will be your only day in during your induction week - full teaching will start the following week.

    Those starting the BA Top-Up degree (the third year of the full degree) will have their induction on Tuesday 6th September from 11am.

    The welcome and induction afternoon will include a variety of activities and give you the opportunity to meet our student services team, course tutors and work placement coordinator. You will have the opportunity to view the university centre facilities and also have a tour of the library. It is important that you attend the induction session.

    What about the rest of my timetable?

    Your days of attendance will be Monday and Wednesday from 1pm - 6pm with teaching beginning on Monday 12th September in room U014. 

    What equipment do I need for my course?

    You will need a pen and a notepad for your induction week. 

    How do I complete my enrolment for the course?

    When is my first day / induction?

    Your first day at the university centre is Monday 5th September at 10am - 2.30pm. On arrival, please report to room U119 / U120 (first floor of the university centre - down the corridor on the right). Your induction timetable is:

    10am Welcome - with Dr. Janet Jones and the teaching team
    10.30am Course review
    10.45am Break
    11.15am  Trimester 1 and the modules
    12.30pm Lunch
    1.30pm Questions and answers with the course team
    2.30pm Close

    We would also like you to come along to the university centre in the same room at the same time the following day (Tuesday 6th September). On Tuesday, you will:

     10.30am  Session with student services - learn about what support is available
     11.30am  Break
     12pm  Meet some of our current and previous students!
     12.45pm  Induction into the LRC
     1.30pm - 2.30pm  Lunch and social time - opportunity to get to know each other better!

    What about the rest of my timetable?

    You have two days on your timetable in the first trimester - Monday (9.30am - 5pm) and Friday (9.30am - 4pm).

    What equipment do I need for my course?

    You will need a pen and a notepad whilst on site. You will also need a suitable device to access online materials.
