During Armed Forces Week CWA raised a flag to show our support for our armed forces community – whether they are serving, veterans, spouses, families, reservists, cadets or cadet force adult volunteers. The flag was raised by Brian Whitehouse the co-chair of our Armed Forces Network and he said a few words to welcome and thank members of both the college and wider community. The college welcomed King’s Lynn Town Mayor Cllr Andy Bullen, Steven Keir MBE (President of Royal British Legion King’s Lynn), representatives from Veteran’s Central as well as other local veterans and family members who joined us to celebrate. Afterwards college staff and guests shared refreshments, stories were recounted and there was an opportunity for everyone to talk about how we can support each other.
