NPTC Level 2 Horse care students at Cambridge Campus enjoyed a great morning with equine dental technician Stuart Goddard, who trained and lectured in America.
Stuart supports many veterinary practices across Essex, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire and was kind enough to give up his time to deliver a very informative and fun session on equine dental biomechanics and dentistry techniques.
The horse care group were joined by animal care assistants and all students gained valuable knowledge for forthcoming health assessments, which included looking at skulls, teeth and dynamic conformation as well as how to regularly care for teeth.
The group involved thanked Stuart very much and all agreed it was a really useful and fun lecture demo.
