Held as part of the British Culinary Championships organised by the Craft Guild of Chefs, the competition provides aspiring chefs and hospitality professionals with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a series of challenging disciplines judged by industry experts.

Eight hospitality and catering students represented the College of West Anglia at the national event, returning with an impressive medal haul and several Best in Class awards.

Among the college’s gold medal winners were Holly Page, who secured Gold and Best in Class in Table Laying, Willow Janes, who achieved Gold and Best in Class in Gateaux, and Brooke Mason, who won Gold and Best in Class in Fish Filleting.

Silver medals were awarded to Silvia Kechedzhieva, who also achieved Best in Class in Chicken for Sauté, alongside Cadence Palmer and Felicity Eagan in the same category.
