Baby llama 2014 Woodside Farm on the outskirts of Cambridge has a surprise extra attraction for its open day on Sunday, which is again expected to attract hundreds of people to the free event. Open Farm Sunday has countless things to see and do at the Milton campus of the College of West Anglia. And no-one was expecting the latest addition, seen in our photograph. It is actually a baby llama, known as a cria. It was born on Sunday, May 25 and was a bit of a surprise. Agriculture director Linda Kirby said: “We will be having a name the baby llama competition at Open Farm Sunday. “The baby is currently being bottle fed as the dam has no milk so it is very friendly.” Open Farm Sunday is from 10am to 3pm with attraction at both the main campus in Landbeach Road and nearby Woodside Farm. The little llama will only be two weeks old when he becomes a star attraction.
