The foundation department held a Macmillan Café on Tuesday 11 October, at the King’s Lynn Campus. The event was open to staff and students and raised a fantastic £272.00.
The café was run by students and staff from the ‘becoming independent and developing and finding independence groups’ who sold raffle tickets, made cakes and ran the café.
Course director Karen Soehnle said: “Thank you to all the staff who bought raffle tickets and attended the café. I would also like to thank the hair and beauty department, the Novus restaurant and the refectory for donating some great raffle prizes.”
