Once I had completed my GCSE’s at University Academy Holbeach, I decided to attend the college as I wanted to study at university once I had completed my course. The modules that are involved within the course have allowed me to further my education and hospitality experience.
I first signed up to CWA when I did my Level 2 Apprenticeship. Having completed this, I then decided to do my Level 3 at CWA. Both courses have helped me to expand my knowledge, especially when taking part in B Tests. This has also helped me to improve my cooking techniques.
The Novus Restaurant has great facilities and enables students to gain real-life work experience as we are involved in preparing, cooking and serving members of the public.
The course has enabled me to improve skills such as customer service, food and beverage service, team work, food preparation, cooking and food safety hygiene.
I am delighted to say that I am attending Nottingham Trent University in September to study Hospitality Management (Culinary Arts). With the help of the staff at CWA and the extensive facilities on offer, I have been able to achieve my career goals.
