Since beginning her level 3 nursing and paramedic qualification, Jade has made excellent progress, despite facing many personal challenges this year.
Jade is an extremely hard-working, energetic and compassionate student, who continuously pushes herself to improve. She is on track to achieve an overall distinction grade this year.
Alongside her main qualification, Jade is also completing her GCSE English qualification, which is an area that she struggles with, but she has worked tirelessly to ensure she achieves her goals.
Jade has managed to complete her full 57 work placement hours and, despite having a full timetable, has already completed 15 out of the 30 Learning Resource Centre hours required.
Jade’s strong work ethic, commitment and maturity makes her thoroughly deserving student of this award.
Jade said: "CWA has allowed me to further my knowledge and has put me a step further to achieving my goals.
If anyone was thinking about coming to college I would say that it is an amazing experience and so much support is available when you need it. I feel so grateful that people are around me to support me and to see the effort that I am putting in."
