Before starting college, I didn’t really have a pre-determined goal. I was open to all ideas and seeing what the course could offer me was my main goal.
I had heard a lot of good things about the college through friends and family and being in the area, made this a natural option for me.
The main content at college all revolved around life in the public services. We got to go on regular trips to different place and this gave me the opportunity to experience a different way of life and what the Armed Forces had to offer. The Personal Trainer programme gave me the motivation I needed to push myself further.
I have very fond memories of my time at CWA, from day one right up until the end. The two years I spent around friends and training staff have developed me into the thrill seeking, adventurous and inquisitive person I am today. Attending the college really helped me with the next step I was wanting to take, they enabled me to gain an insight into the new world I was about to step into. Doing the fitness programme and the 'look at life' visits that the college organised, gave me the best start to my career.
My current employer is the Royal Airforce and my trade is Police. My job role is aviation security fight, which sees me doing avaiation security in different parts of the world.
