Kieran had limited horse handling experience when he started the equine course, but he did have a clear career plan - to become a farrier. He worked particularly hard on his practical skills to get them up to industry standard. With his planned career in mind, Kieran secured work experience with a farrier and really grasped that opportunity to get as much additional knowledge as he could.
