I decided to study at CWA rather than sixth form as I loved the freedom of college. When I attended an open day at the college, the tutors were so enthusiastic and passionate about their subjects, I knew this was the place I wanted to go.
All my tutors were amazing and supportive, the encouragement that I received throughout studying my A-Levels helped me to achieve the best results.
The tutors were always suggesting opportunities that were outside of college, such as volunteering and work experience, this also helped improve our curriculum vitae and learn new skills ready for university and working life.
I have had such an amazing experience doing my A-Levels at CWA, I especially enjoyed sharing my journey with staff and other students. I can’t thank the staff enough for inspiring me and offering me unconditional support throughout my A-Levels. I couldn’t have done it without them and I feel it is important that staff are recognised for their efforts.
I am now going into higher education and will be studying English and History at University of York.
