Computing is changing our world, the way we work and the way we live. To study computer science is to put yourself at the forefront of both technological and social change. This course examines the principles and technologies underpinning the systems that are driving this change.

So what can I study?

COMPUTING - LEVEL 1 (DIPLOMA

This course is for those who are interested in Computing and Information Technology (IT). You do not need to have any previous experience with computers, as this course will prepare you from the very beginning.

COMPUTING - LEVEL 2 (DIPLOMA)

The course will inspire you to produce computer-based product, taking you from consumer to creator. It will prepare you for the world of work or for progression to Level 3 courses in Computer Science or Games Design.

COMPUTING - LEVEL 3 (EXTENDED DIPLOMA)

If you are interested in a career in computing in specialist areas such as systems analysis, software development, database development, technical support, network management, and web development, this course is for you.

GAMES DESIGN - LEVEL 3 (EXTENDED DIPLOMA)

The computer games sector is one of the fastest growing fields in the industry. Mobile platforms and the latest generation consoles have opened up new online environments for games to explore and interact with. Over the next few years these platforms will be enhanced by new interaction models to produce more immersive game play systems. VR and AR is pushing the boundaries of what is possible in a £4 billion industry that has out grown the UK Film and Music industry put together!
