Student Finance
All student finance applications are made to our partnership universities, Anglia Ruskin University for the majority of courses and University of Huddersfield for our teacher training courses. You can find all the details
When completing your application, you will need to search for Anglia Ruskin University / University of Huddersfield and your UCAS code. You can find full details on how to apply for student finance here.
Full-time courses
Tuition Fee Loan
The tuition fee loan covers your tuition fees. It is paid directly to the university centre each year of study.
Maintenance Loan
The maintenance loan helps with living costs and is paid into your bank account at the start of each term. The amount you can borrow depends on your circumstances – you can complete the student finance calculator to estimate your maintenance loan.
Part-time courses
You may be able to receive a tuition fee loan if your part-time course has a ‘course intensity’ of 25% or more. ‘Course intensity’ measure how much of your course you complete each year, compared to an equivalent full-time course.
Higher National Certificate/Diploma courses
There is no funding or student finance available for our Higher National Certificate/Diploma (HNC/HND) courses. Whilst employers tend to fund these courses, you are able to split the course fee into three equal termly instalments.
Extra Support
Depending on your circumstances, you may also be able to apply for extra support through:
Disabled Students’ Allowance
Childcare Grants
Parent’s Learning Allowance
Adult Dependants’ Grants
UcWA Study Plus
