You can now apply to join UcWA through Clearing. Applying through Clearing is easy and a great opportunity if you have changed your mind about your course or provider, or are yet to apply to start a degree.
You can apply through Clearing if you:
- are yet to complete an application for a degree – maybe you’ve only just decided that it’s an option for you
- you don’t quite get the results you expected in the summer
- you’ve changed your mind and would like to go to a different provider
- you took your exams some time ago and want to return to education
We know how difficult it can be to make such an important decision for your future. You can find what steps you need to consider before making a commitment on UCAS’s website.
How to apply through Clearing at UcWA
Before A-Level results day
Once you’ve received confirmation, you can add the Clearing choice in UCAS Track. When you sign in, if you’re eligible for Clearing, in the ‘Next Step’s section, you’ll be given an option to ‘Add a Clearing choice.’ We’ll give you all the details needed to choose UcWA as your clearing choice.
If you have already accepted an unconditional offer from elsewhere, you will need to ‘self-release’ into Clearing by using the ‘decline your place’ button on UCAS Track.
If you are yet to complete an application through UCAS, find your course through our website and click ‘Apply through UCAS’ to get started!
After A-Level results day
We will have a Clearing hotline which will open from 8am on A-Level results day. Further details will be added closer to the time.
