You can now apply to join UcWA through Clearing. Applying through clearing is easy and a great opportunity if you have changed your mind about your course or provider, or are yet to apply to start a degree.
You can apply through Clearing if you:
- are yet to complete an application for a degree – maybe you’ve only just decided that it’s an option for you
- you didn’t quite get the results you expected
- you’ve changed your mind and would like to go to a different provider
- you took your exams some time ago and want to return to education

How to apply through Clearing at UcWA

Whether you’ve already applied through UCAS or not, have a look at the entry requirements of our courses and, if you think a course is suitable for you, call our Clearing hotline on 01553 815650 or email us with the course you're interested in at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If you’ve already applied through UCAS, we’ll need to know your Clearing number (found at the top left of UCAS).
What's next?
Once you have spoken to us, you can add the Clearing choice in UCAS. When you sign in, if you’re eligible for Clearing, in the ‘Next Steps' section, you’ll be given an option to ‘Add a Clearing choice.’ We’ll give you all the details needed to choose UcWA as your clearing choice.
If you have already accepted an unconditional offer from elsewhere, you will need to ‘self-release’ into Clearing by using the ‘decline your place’ button on UCAS. Give us a shout if you need a hand!
