King’s Lynn town centre came to a standstill at the weekend as our UcWA students processed through the streets after graduating at the Alive Leisure Corn Exchange. As is tradition, the academic and Mayoral procession walked the streets of King’s Lynn prior to the ceremony and again after, when graduates joined them to parade through the town centre. Jordan English was named UcWA’s Student of the Year 2018 at the graduation proceedings. Jordan studied BA (Hons) History and English and is now training to become an English teacher. She said: “The main reason I have enjoyed studying for a degree at University Centre West Anglia are the lecturers. Their enthusiasm and passion astounds me and they are so proud of what the university centre has to offer. The small classes are another reason I enjoyed attending UcWA we all know one another and we had a group chat so we were constantly in contact with one another. “I would tell anyone thinking about studying at UcWA to do it, do not think twice about it. You will receive first class teaching and support. There aren’t enough words to express how happy I am I chose UcWA, this is the best place to get a degree!”

The 2018 graduands also achieved great success with over 70% of all completing students achieving ‘Good’ degree outcomes (first class or upper second classifications). Our HE students have sacrificed much to achieve success and today is a day of celebration for them.”
