Equipment and Kit Lists
If you are planning on joining CWA in September 2023, you can use these kit lists as a guide but please do not buy anything as the requirements change each year.
Important information for 19+ students
If you are a fully-funded student (i.e. you do not have to pay any fees for your course) or are planning on obtaining an Advanced Learner Loan to cover your course fees then any equipment or uniform which is considered essential to you completing your course will be provided you by the faculty team. If this is the case for you, please do not purchase any ESSENTIAL kit, equipment or uniform prior to your course. You can find more information on adult learning fees here. If you do not meet the above criteria, you may be entitled to financial help to help you with kit, equipment and uniform costs.
Financial Help
The college operates a financial support scheme which can help students whose financial circumstances make it difficult for them to meet the costs associated with study; find out more information here. Once you have purchased your equipment and have been awarded funds from financial support, please provide us with a receipt of your purchase and we will refund you in the first term of the course. If you have already been awarded financial support, we may be able to order it for you (course dependent); your award letter will contain further details. Please note that we are only able to refund or purchase kit, equipment or uniform which is considered essential to you completing your qualification.
