Food and Drink Technical Operator - Apprenticeship - Level 3
This apprenticeship is designed to equip process operators with the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours to work effectively in a dynamic food and drink manufacturing environment.
As a food and drink technical operator apprentice you will gain a understanding of safe, compliant, and efficient processing techniques, asset care, machinery operation, maintenance and first line fault diagnosis and repair.
You will attend college for one day per month with regular onsite visits by your tutor to support your progress and development.
Included in the apprenticeship is a compulsory 20 day mechanical maintenance block release.
Employers will set their own entry criteria. You will be invited to an interview to identify your potential, commitment and motivation to achieve the apprenticeship. During your interview you will be required to complete an initial English and maths assessment. We will also use the interview as an opportunity to discuss your employer.

How many hours / days per week is this course?
This course can be started at any point throughout the year, as agreed with your employer. You will also attend college one day per month (date to be confirmed)
