Award in Personal Social Skills - Introduction to Sustainability - Level 1
We aim to support peoples confidence, resilience and personal skills through a range of accredited training courses that will help progress their educational or employment opportunities. Whether it is to get back into work, switch career or move onto further education, this course will inform and guide learners on the values, attitudes and personal skills required to thrive in the 21st century. Learners will progress to be strong, independent and resilient individuals.

Course Description
There are 3 modules for the Award (10 credits). Each module will be delivered in a half day workshop. This could be at the college or an alternative suitable venue.
- Module 1: Recycling & waste management
- Module 2: Climate change & taking action through sustainability
- Module 3: Environmental responsibility in the workplace

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for funding for this course:
- You must be 19 yrs old or above in the previous academic year.
- Resident in the UK for the last 3 yrs
- Proof of benefits if you are unemployed
- Proof of earnings may be requested
Course fees may be requested if eligibility requirements are not met.
