This Reception pathway is a great introductory course that helps people develop the skills needed to be an effective receptionist. This includes learning how to deal with customers, use office equipment, and manage the office.

Course Description
This qualification requires learners to complete a mandatory work/industry placement experience throughout the duration of the qualification, before certification.

Entry Requirements
You must be aged 19 or over in the previous academic year to access this course.
It would be advantageous to have some recent, relevant experience within this sector, but it is not essential.
You must be in a paid or voluntary role in a suitable workplace setting for 10 hours a week.
You will ideally hold a grade 4 or above in English but it is not essential. An assessment may be carried out to determine suitability if you do not hold this qualification.
You must meet certain eligibility requirements to be funded for this qualification. You can obtain funding through the Adult Skills Fund. More details can be provided on application.
