Microsoft Office Specialist - Powerpoint - Part-time

This course is an introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 and leads to the Microsoft Office Specialist exam 77-729, enabling learners to demonstrate their ability to effectively use Microsoft PowerPoint to create professional presentations, so is ideal for anyone wanting to boost their CV.

  • Course Description

    This course is part of a suite of courses covering various industry recognised examinations enabling learners to become a Certified Microsoft Office Specialist Master (MOS). The course will be delivered in CWA's new Microsoft Show Classroom with access to specialist online learning materials through Microsoft Imagine Academy.

    The course enables learners to use Microsoft Powerpoint 2016 to achieve the following in:

    • Create and manage presentations
    • Insert and format shapes and slides
    • Create slide content
    • Apply transitions and animations
    • Manage multiple presentations
  • Entry Requirements

    Whilst there are no official entry requirements, basic computing skills are required.

  • Course Length

    This course runs each Thursday from 6pm. The tutorial sessions will be generally one hour long but there are three two hour sessions: in week 1 to ensure you have access to the online resources and contact details for your tutor are initialised in week 5 to ensure progress is being made and to ensure access to practice exams and finally in week 10 for exam preparation.
