This course is an introduction to Microsoft Word 2016 and leads to the Microsoft Certification either the Word Associate exam or Word Expert exam enabling learners to demonstrate their ability to effectively use Microsoft word to accomplish business oriented tasks so is ideal for anyone wanting to boost their CV. This course is part of a suit of courses covering various industry recognised examinations.

This course will run every Tuesday from 6pm - 8pm. This will be delivered over ten weeks with tutorial sessions in the Colleges specialist classrooms and tutor support throughout. The tutorial sessions will be generally one hour long but there are three two hour sessions: in week 1 to ensure you have access to the online resources and contact details for your tutor are initialised; in week 5 to ensure progress is being made and to ensure access to practice exams and finally in week 10 for exam preparation.

There are no fee waivers or reductions available for this course. The full cost is payable on application. CWA staff can study this course for free. The cost of the course includes practice tests and the first exam attempt. Resits would incur an additional fee of £30 per exam.
