Engineering and Manufacturing (Process and Control) - T Level - Level 3
If you're interested in a career in engineering, manufacturing, process or control occupation, this new T Level will give you the core knowledge and skills required - including the opportunity to demonstrate it practically with relevant work experience.
This course has a maximum capacity of 20 students and we have already exceeded that number of applications by a considerable amount. We are therefore no longer accepting applications for this course.

Course Description
During the course, you'll learn a broad range of core topics relevant to the sector, including:
- understanding of materials, conditions and design processes and products
- essential mathematics; standard matrices, determinants and trigonometry related to engineering
- material processing techniques and material properties
- general business commercial principles related to engineering and manufacturing
- how to use use specialist machinery
By joining this course, you'll not only gain an excellent practical skillset to work in the engineering industry, you'll also be able to specialise in fabrication or machining. For these specialisms, you'll be assessed against the following assessment themes:
- Health and safety
- Planning and preparation
- Production and assembly
- Quality review and evaluation
Work placement
Throughout this course, you'll be able to put everything you learn into practice in the workplace as you'll be expected to complete 315 hours (around 45 days) relevant work experience over the two years.

Entry Requirements
You will need:
- GCSE maths at grade 5 or above (from a higher tier paper)
- 4 other GCSEs at grade 4 or above to include English
