Dayna will be in strong company with Owens Express Women's Soccer making the national finals last season losing to the eventual winners Monroe College. Dayna will make the move to America on the 25th July after completion of her programme at CWA’s sports campus. Dayna will train 7 days a week at Owens Junior College as well as continuing her studying.
Dayna said: "This is a dream come true, I have been playing since I was 4 years old and have always wanted to live in America and achieve this while being able to continue playing football is an amazing opportunity which doesn’t seem to be real."
Dayna becomes the lastest success story from CWA’s sports campus making the move to America following in the footsteps of Domonic Dwyer, Tom White, Mark Heath-Preston, Kyle Nichols, Tom McCarthy, Lee Woolmore, Nikita Morris and Chloe Burch to name a few.
Programme Manager for sport at CWA Tommy Goode said ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for Dayna and we wish her every success for the future. Dayna is another example of the talent in our local community who have progressed while here at CWA and this opportunity is very well deserved."
