College of West Anglia beauty therapy students showed their support to the local community by volunteering at the
Dobbies Ladies Night event, held at Dobbies Garden Centre in King’s Lynn, on Thursday 26 November.
Ladies night is a nationwide fundraiser, held across all 35 Dobbies stores in the UK on the same night.
The exclusive shopping evening, raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, was held at the store on Campbell’s Meadow.
In the spirit of a girls’ night out, beauty students from CWA helped visitors get glam for the evening, offering a range of mini treatments including hand and arm massages, hot stone mini massages and nail painting – asking for charitable donations in return for their time.
The event ran from 5pm to 9pm and the students worked non-stop throughout, giving treatments and socialising with local ladies.
CWA have helped at ladies night for the past few years and hope to continue their support of such events in the future.

Leanne Desborough, Level 3 Course Director and beauty therapy lecturer, said: “We are so happy to be supporting Dobbies with their Ladies night event. The therapists really enjoyed themselves and kept busy all evening. Hopefully we have helped to raise a lot of money for a worthy cause.”
