Amy is studying an apprenticeship in Operations Departmental Management L5, working as the Recruitment manager for Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn. Whilst this is her first management position, she has displayed a high degree of personal motivation and determination to achieve from day one, which has in turn helped her team evolve.

Whilst Amy and her team have had to consistently face challenging demands, this has developed her management and leadership skills rather than deterred her.  She has also stepped up to the next level of management due to absence, where she has excelled and been specially recognised for going above and beyond by the Deputy Director of People in a recent review.

Member of Amy’s team have also shared that she makes them feel valued and respected and her mentor stated that “I feel very fortunate and proud, to have had Amy as one of my learners! “

Amy was notimated and subsequently won the Apprentiship of the Year award in 2025.
