My career aspirations were vague at the time of applying to study at CWA. I knew I wanted to produce illustrations, whether it was graphic design, illustration, character design or animation. I knew creating art was my ideal way to earn a living.
I chose to study at CWA as I preferred being treated as an adult. College doesn’t require you to wear uniforms and you are not required to stay on campus. I didn’t choose sixth form as I didn’t want to relive my high school years and CWA was more liberating.
My memories at CWA are generally positive. In fact, the most vivid memories are those shared with friends, seeing them was the primary reason I enjoyed college. I really enjoyed all the times we’ve spent together.
College has offered favourable opportunities. I was requested to develop signage for Athena Care Homes. I participated in a virtual work experience programmed by Springpod. Additionally, I was also awarded as Creative Arts Student of the Year. With all this experience to support me, I’ve demonstrated that I’m a motivational and imaginative student.
My next stage is to study photography. I hope to go to university to learn animation.
