Jake came to the college after being home-schooled. Since then, he has adapted extremely well to college life.
This is Jake’s first attempt at learning the GCSE maths curriculum and he has gone the extra mile to improve his knowledge and understanding at every turn. He regularly seeks feedback and is interested in alternative
methods when solving questions.
Currently, Jake has been predicted a grade 4, but he is working hard to try to achieve a higher grade 5 in the qualification.
Jake also has an excellent rapport with staff members and peers and encourages others to achieve with his strong work ethic. He can apply his knowledge and patience by peer teaching, delivering clear explanations to others.
Jake’s high standards, positive approach and focus are things that will help him throughout his life, and we have no doubt of his success in his upcoming exams.
