Kelsie studied Performing Arts - Musical Theatre in 2018-2020 at CWA. Before starting her course Kelsie knew that she was eager to become a performer and enhance her training. She says, “I chose to study at CWA due to the amazing facilities on campus such as the theatre and dance studios.”

Whilst studying, she liked that the majority of the content of the course was practical based. This allowed Kelsie to further her skills which was a priority for her. She got to perform in many group shows and regularly had the opportunity to perform her chorography in trios, duets and solos and receive active feedback from tutors.

When asked about her tutors Kelsie said, “The teachers were dedicated and passionate in what they taught which really makes a difference to the lessons - they were positive and fun.”

Since leaving CWA, Kelise has graduated from the Anglia Ruskin University and received a First Class Honours in Musical Theatre. She is currently undertaking a Primary PGCE at The University of Worcester, inspired to pursue a career in teaching by her teachers at CWA.

Kelise states, “CWA benefitted my next steps as it gave me lots of transferrable skills and confidence. The experience allowed me to develop not only in my dance, singing and acting but also in myself. I could never have done this without the teachers at CWA and their continued support and knowledge.”
