Molly Hewitt chose T-Level Health and Social care at CWA, because the course allowed her to gain hands on practical knowledge as well as theoretical. As part of Mollys T-Level she had work placement at the Queen Elizabeth hospital which allowed her to gain invaluable experience.
Molly said “I did A-Levels for a year but found it very boring being stuck in a classroom. I came to college to be in a different environment; classrooms, the hospital and the clinical simulation suite.”
Whilst at college, Molly also competed in Worlds Skills, in which she took the gold medal in the Health and Social care category.
Kelly-Anne Neal – T Level Course Director at CWA said:
“The World Skills competition brings together the best students, across the nation in their vocational subject competing for the top spot. It requires commitment, hard work, passion, comradery, and professionalism. I was so pleased 2 CWA students got through to the final 8 of the world skills competition and thrilled to bits when Molly won gold, it really is a testament to not only Molly’s professional development but also the standard of Health and Social care taught at CWA”
Molly said “The things I enjoyed most about my time at CWA are all the memories and knowledge I can now take with me in my future !”
After finishing her course Molly, has gone on to study a nursing degree at University.
