I am studying Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance at Level 3 and I chose to study this course since it is one of the best courses for the food industry.
My typical day at college is a mix of theory and practical work. I enjoy the practical exercises which include machining, hand fitting, milling, building pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and bit of electrical.
The aspect of the course I enjoy the most is the practical side because I enjoy trying new things and it’s always fun when you can make something with your hands.
I knew that I specifically wanted to study Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance and it was very important to me that I took part in this course, which is why I joined CWA as they are one of the few colleges that run it.
Everyone at CWA is welcoming and supportive. The facilities help you to immerse yourself into the learning environment while gaining experience in the working industry.
Upon completion of my course, I hope to gain a full-time job at Banham Poultry and further my career in the field of multi-skilled engineering.
I would like to express my gratitude for being able to study at CWA and be a part of this learning experience.
