Xaynia studied Performing Arts at CWA, where she spent her days focusing on her technique and skills in dance, particularly contemporary and jazz.  She especially enjoyed workshops with guest teachers, as they taught a variety of different styles such as Whacking, a style of street dance.

At the end of her course, Xaynia auditioned for universities and her main choice, Bodywork Company, offered her a fully funded place on their 1-year Foundation Course. From that, she was then offered another part funded place on their 3-year Professional Dance & Performing Arts course.

Xaynia said, “At CWA, I had great times with friends and enjoyed our showcase performances. My time at CWA benefited my next step massively, as I would never have auditioned at Bodywork Company.”

Xaynia now works for Bodywork Company as a Commercial Dance Teacher, where she teaches weekly commercial classes to adults, who are wishing to reignite their passion and love for dance, in a stress-free environment.
