Final Major Performance - Musical Theatre
This year’s Musical Theatre Final Major Production at College of West Anglia’s Creative Arts Theatre, highlights the creativity, leadership, and ambition of both Level 2 and Level 3 Performing Arts students.
Central to the project, Level 3 second year students step into the role of Directors, each leading the development of one of eight original mini musical pieces. They have cast performers from across the course including Level 3 first and second years as well as Level 2 students, creating a truly collaborative ensemble.
Taking full ownership of their work, these student directors have adapted scripts, designed lighting, choreographed movement, and shaped each production from concept through to performance. The result is a diverse and engaging showcase that demonstrates their skills in directing, alongside the performers’ talent in singing, dancing, acting, and captivating an audience.
