Air Source Heat Pump
This ERS OFTEC approved (OFT21-504A/D) Heat Pump Systems Qualification is recognised as a demonstration of competence for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). It is a 3 Day Air Source Heat Pump system design, install, commission and maintain qualification and gives installers the skills and knowledge required to work with Air and Ground Source Heat Pump systems.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING
New applicants must hold a nationally recognised qualification and/or hold appropriate registration in a trade associated with heating and/or plumbing. You must provide evidence of relevant qualifications and / or registration to support entry in the form of:
- original certificate(s) for the assessment(s) they wish to undertake
- undertake heat pump training at an OFTEC Approved Training Centre
- hold current and valid Water Regulations certificate (Note, all certificates are valid for 5 years only, including those with no expiry date)
- hold current and valid Unvented Hot Water certificate
- hold a nationally recognised qualification and/or registration in a trade associated with heating and/or plumbing work for a period not less than two years
OR - provide employer evidence of ‘on the job’ heating installation and/or maintenance experience for a period of not less than two years
