A course that caters for complete beginners through to those with some experience in photography. Learn and develop skills in using your digital SLR camera and how to enhance your photographs using Photoshop.
This course will run every Thursday for 8 weeks from 6.30pm-8.30pm, starting on 15th January 2026 until 12th March 2026.
(Please note: There is a half term on the week commencing 16th February and there will be no class on that week)
The course will cover the basics of digital photography e.g. ISO, aperture, shutter speed etc. You will practice different shooting situations in the lessons, including portraiture, long exposure, flash, and outdoor photography. You will also be given projects to do in your own time. The course will include some work on image manipulation on Photoshop. We recommend you bring your own digital SLR camera but we do have a few that can be shared among students who do not have their own.
