This course is for beginners in sugarcraft, including those with very limited skills in the subject. This year, the course will be Christmas themed!
This 6 week course is offered at the King's Lynn campus starting on Thursday at 6PM - 8:30 PM on 7th of November 2024.
During the course, you will work on an 8 inch fruit cake which you will bake at home and bring with you to the second session. Recipe for the cake will be provided during the first week (or you can use your own!).
Over the following weeks, you will cover:
- Covering a cake with marzipan and sugarpaste
- Crimping
- Basic side design
- Piping and writing on a cake
- Royal icing runout
- Basic modelling (Christmas Figures!)
All sugarcraft ingredients will be provided but you will need to use your own ingredients to bake your cake!
Included in the price a College branded apron for you to keep.
