The college runs a free shuttle bus for students between Cambridge North railway station and the Cambridge campus each college day.
Following a positive response to our recent proposal to move the shuttle, from the start of the new academic year, our Cambridge shuttle bus will operate between Cambridge North railway station and our Cambridge campus each college day.
The service has been designed around the college day and local rail and bus connections, making it easier for students travelling into Cambridge to reach the campus.
Morning
The bus will leave Cambridge North railway station at 8.45am and travel directly to the college.
Afternoon
The return shuttle will leave the Cambridge campus at 4.45pm and travel to Cambridge North railway station.
Connecting from King's Lynn?
The morning shuttle is timed to connect with the train from King's Lynn which is scheduled to leave at 7.41am and arrive at Cambridge North at 8.31am.
This means there are 14 minutes between the train arriving and the shuttle departing at 8.45am, which gives enough time to account for shorter delays.
Shuttle timetable
| Journey | Departure | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Cambridge North → College | 8.45am | Morning shuttle to the Cambridge campus |
| College → Cambridge North | 4.45pm | Afternoon return shuttle to the railway station |
Who can use the shuttle?
The shuttle bus is available free of charge to all students studying at our Cambridge campus. You must, however, apply for a space. Spaces are first come, first served, but there should be more than enough space on the bus each day. Further information about collection points and how to apply will be published here shortly.
We do need to inform you that should you miss the service in the morning or afternoon, you will be responsible for making your own alternative arrangements to get to the station/college. You will need to ensure that you are wearing your CWA lanyard and have your student card visible during all journeys using the shuttle bus.
