This is typically a 3-year apprenticeship with an integrated approach to the assessment of knowledge, skills and behaviours. Delivery and on-programme assessment are organised through a range of modules that deliver the HEIs approach to the degree curriculum, and through agreement with the employer in relation to workplace development opportunities.
The modules will cover the breadth and depth of the standard using suggested on-programme assessment methods that integrate the knowledge, skills and behaviour components, and which ensure that you are sufficiently prepared to undertake the synoptic project, which will be assessed by the HEI, employer and independent assessor and the option to apply for professional recognition on achievement of the apprenticeship once you have passed the endpoint assessment.
You will then be assessed to the Apprenticeship Standard using four complementary assessment methods to take a view of your overall performance in your job. The End Assessment Process will consist of:
