Beauty therapy students and staff found a beautiful way of raising money for a good case and promoting the department and its services. Members of the public were invited to look at the work of students and there were money-off promtions. Beauty therapy lecturer Leanne Desborough praised the students for organising the event in the Vancouver salon, which attracted a lot of bookings. And a raffle raised £64, which will go to the Lynn-based charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers, which helps youngsters who have lost a member of their family in war conflict. “The event was very successful,” said Leanne. The Level 3 Beauty Students held a day of demonstrations and treatments.
