On 27th June, the Creative Media department at CWA celebrated their students’ achievements from the past year. Student work, across a range of categories, was shortlisted and the staff team selected a winner in each category. Winners are acknowledged with a certificate and prize.
The event was held in the lecture theatre of the University Centre and was attended by students, parents, and college staff. The awards are always a fun evening for staff and students to come together to celebrate the creative efforts of the academic year, and staff and students were encouraged to arrive in fancy dress!
Paul Gibson, Programme Manager for Creative Arts, said, "The Creative Media Awards are a well-established event at the college. At the end of the year, after the learners have worked hard on their final projects, it is a great time to celebrate their work and successes. Students across the different levels of courses do not always get to appreciate the efforts of their peers and the awards provides a perfect place for them to sit back and enjoy the work of everyone."
The event was hosted by students; Danny Bocking and Betsey Fleetwood,
