The College of West Anglia (CWA) Level 2 Air Cabin Crew students had the exclusive opportunity to welcome aviation industry professionals Sue and India Gibson to the King’s Lynn Campus to talk to them about life working as an air cabin crew.
The Air Cabin Crew students participated in ‘mock’ interviews as part of an assessment for their course. To add realism to the process, external industry experts, Tim, Sue, and India Gibson, very kindly agreed to help with the process.
The learners were put through their paces demonstrating their skills and knowledge in a realistic mock interview and selection process designed to prepare them for their ‘next steps’ applying for jobs in the industry.
Sue and India were joined in a feedback question and answer session by Captain Tim Gibson, who also spoke to the learners about his role on the flight deck. Between them they have a wealth of knowledge and experience working for different airlines and the learners benefitted from being able to ask questions directly to them to improve their knowledge.
Nic Leadley, Course Director Level 2 Air Cabin Crew said:
“The Gibson family were most kind in agreeing to support our learners again and give them a truly realistic impression of life working as Air Cabin Crew. Their support and feedback will be invaluable in helping students secure careers in their chosen industry.”
