Face to face learning activities such as this, with interaction with the armed forces and up-to-date careers advice, give students accurate information and encouragement to make informed decisions about their future careers.
Activities carried out by the army with the students included teamwork activity sessions, a careers talk, weapons display stand and surveillance equipment display.

“The visit by the wonderful Army Outreach team was full of activities which gave CWA learners a great insight into life in the military. We all really enjoyed the afternoon. It’s so important to immerse the students in real life experiences and that's something that's one of our missions in the Public and Protective Services department.”
