Isle Services 2Isle Services 5Isle Services 3 The Isle campus of the College of West Anglia was invaded by the Army, Navy and Air Force. But there was no battle – just the opportunity for students to learn about careers available in the Armed Forces. Representatives were among those manning information stands at a uniformed services careers fair. It was organised by the Isle’s uniformed services department headed by former Armed Forces member Ady Kent. The intention was for uniformed services students and others from the college to be able to learn more about career choices. Students could learn about both the regular and territorial army. Closer to home Cambridgeshire Fire Service brought one of its appliances to the campus and showed students about its operations. Also attending the day-long event were representatives from Scotty’s Little Soldiers, Help For Heroes, Street Pride and Lifeline4 Chernobyl.
