Millie Seekings, a Level 3 Art & Design student, won a national competition to illustrate Dan’s Magic Pegs, a children’s book by Jonathan Howe. The story follows Dan, a young boy learning to adapt to life with prosthetic legs, offering an inspiring message of resilience and self-acceptance.

Millie’s illustrations were selected for their creativity and ability to bring Dan’s emotional journey to life. Her work impressed the judges with its vibrant style and attention to detail, perfectly complementing the book’s themes.

Dan’s Magic Pegs was published last month, with Millie’s illustrations helping to deliver an inspiring story for young readers.
