Olympic runner coaches students
Around 60 sports students from the College of West Anglia at the sports campus at Lynnsport turned out in the cold for expert coaching from former Olympian Paul Evans.
Paul, who competed at both the Barcelona Olympics in 1992 and those in Atlanta in 1996 in the 1000 metres, worked with groups of students in fitness and training techniques and then held an open workshop, open to all staff and students.
The session consisted of Paul coaching the best techniques to help students taking part in different sports.
Paul, now 52, had travelled from Beccles. He coaches at number of centre in the region, as well as supporting the Grand East Anglian Run.
