Public art show dates
Members of the public have the chance to see an array of artistic work by students at the College of West Anglia’s King’s Lynn and Wisbech campuses, as they stage their major end of year exhibitions.
At King's Lynn, the private view - for students, families and friends - will be held from 6.30pm to 9pm on Friday 9 June, with the event being open to the public from Monday 12 June to Friday 16 June, from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
The exhibition, which is housed in the front block of the King’s Lynn campus, showcases fine art, photography, graphics, 3D, print and textiles.
At Wisbech, the formal opening and private view will take place at 6.30pm on Monday 12 June 2017. The evening will commence in the student social area where prizes and awards will be handed out before the formal opening takes place. The Elizabeth Wright Charity have again agreed to support us and will be in attendance to present their awards. Principal David Pomfret will be attending to formally open the exhibition. Staff, students, parents and guests will then be able to view the exhibition which will be in the Artspace.
The Exhibition will then be open to the public as follows:
Tuesday, 13 June 2017 – 9.30am – 6.30pm
Wednesday, 14 June 2017 – 9.30am – 3.30pm
Thursday, 15 June 2017 – 9.30am – 3.30pm
Friday, 16 June 2017 – 9.30am – 3.30pm
Students from across the college's creative arts departments are celebrating the successful completion of their qualifications and are progressing to higher level courses, graduating to university or entering employment.
