Students from Springwood High School recently enjoyed a day of music at King's Lynn campus. The Springwood students, who are studying a level 2 music course, wanted to gain experience of recording music for one of their BTEC units. Our King's Lynn music studios were ideal the venue due to having two professionally equipped recording studios and ample rehearsal space. The students split into six bands and were given the opportunity to try out both state-of-the art digital technology as well as a traditional tape-based system. Each band recorded three song in sessions that were facilitated by the our own level 3 music students. In addition to recording in the music spaces, the Springwood students were treated to the experience of performing on camera in our Springboard TV studio with the aid of level 3 media students.
