On Thursday 15th August, College of West Anglia (CWA) students celebrated their Level 3 qualification achievements, including A-levels, T-Levels and vocational qualifications along with friends, family and staff.
At CWA this year, an impressive 99% of our A Level students achieved passing grades from A* to E. Notably, 25% of the cohort excelling by securing the top grades between A* and B.
In our recent T Level results, our students achieved outstanding outcomes with 86% of the cohort earning top grades in the areas of Education and Early years, Health and Adult Nursing, Business Management and Administration.
CWA Vice Principal Curriculum and Quality, Kerry Heathcote, said:
“I am very pleased that the efforts and hard work of our students and teaching staff have been rewarded with robust grades across A-level, T-Level and vocational subjects. To achieve a pass rate of 99% across our A-level programmes is testament to this. These are challenging qualifications, and we are delighted that our students can progress on to the next chapter in their lives with confidence, whether that be further study or employment. We wish them every success for the future.”

Jasmine Davies achieved 3 A* in Sociology, Fine Art and Photography. She said that in choosing to go to ‘CWA gave me more freedom to choose my study hours and offers support’. She will be going on to study illustration at Norwich University of the Arts.
Molly Hewitt
Molly Hewitt who competed and won a gold medal in the Worldskills UK 2023 competition; achieved a distinction in her T Level in Adult Nursing. ‘ I did A-Levels for a year but found it very boring being stuck in a classroom. I came to college to be in a different environment; classrooms, the hospital and the clinical simulation suite.’ Molly is going on to study Adult Nursing at York University.
Millie Tibbs
Millie Tibbs who achieved a BTEC Ext Diploma in Nursing/Paramedic Academy said ‘I’m nervous but excited to go to university as I didn’t think it would be an option. But my tutors have been so supportive and really helped me see what I can achieve.’ She will be going on to study Children’s Nursing at the University of East Anglia.
