Hair and Beauty students and staff at the College of West Anglia came together to host an inspiring ‘Wear It Pink’ fundraiser, showing their support for Cancer Research and helping raise vital funds in the fight against breast cancer. The event was a great success, with students organising a day full of activities to engage the college community and raise awareness.
The event featured a cake sale, a raffle with exciting prizes, as well as manicure and blow dry services, all provided by talented Hair and Beauty students. Dressed in pink, they created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it easy for attendees to enjoy a bit of pampering while supporting an important cause. The Hair and Beauty department raised £246 with all proceeds from the day’s activities went directly to Cancer Research, with funds raised contributing to ongoing research and support for those affected by cancer.
The ‘Wear It Pink’ fundraiser not only allowed students to showcase their skills, but also demonstrated their commitment to making a positive impact beyond the classroom.
